Overview of Process

Students are selected for admission on the basis of academic potential, developmental and social maturity, school achievement, behavior, and readiness for our program. In keeping with the school's mission, St. Richard's admits and welcomes students of above average to exceptional ability and all racial, religious, national, and socioeconomic backgrounds of above average to exceptional ability. Rising Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Students
The age guideline for admission to St. Richard's Episcopal School is that children should be three by June 1st of the year they expect to enter Pre-Kindergarten, four by June 1st of the year they expect to enter Junior Kindergarten, and five by June 1st of the year they expect to enter Kindergarten. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
