Welcome to St. Richard’s,
I am delighted that you are interested in learning more about St. Richard’s Episcopal School. This is an exceptional school community, devoted to elevating our mission of “Knowledge and values for a lifetime”. The early childhood, lower division, and middle division years are foundational in acquiring a love of learning and a deep and abiding care and compassion for all. You will find in our classrooms evidence of our five pillars: Faith, Classical Curriculum, Leadership, Civic Responsibility, and Global Readiness, beginning with our youngest students. In addition to a challenging academic program, St. Richard’s is a whole child program, equally invested in nurturing development of universal intellectual standards, care for humanity, social emotional learning, and fostering a reverence for and guidance by the divine.
St. Richard’s faculty are experts in both curriculum and in the care and well-being of each child. Students enjoy close relationships with each other, and our alumni report that in addition to preparing them for scholarship in secondary school and beyond, St. Richard’s has been instrumental in their knowledge of self and their ongoing commitment to create a better world. Here you will find joyful students that respectfully engage with each other, faculty, and learning.
This is an intentionally inclusive community, historically in the areas of racial, socio-economic, and gender diversity. As a relationship-based school, St. Richard’s focuses not just on inclusion, but truly belonging. I invite you to learn more about how the St. Richard’s difference will provide your child both an exceptional learning experience, as well as your entire family a warm and inclusive community. We look forward to guiding you through the application process, and to welcoming you and your child(ren) to the St. Richard’s community!
