James Padgett

 

Mr. James Padgett, teaches middle division French at St. Richard's. Mr. Padgett graduated from IUPUI as a double major in French and Religious Studies with a minor in Native American and Indigenous Studies. Mr. Padgett was immersed in French culture and language for a yaer living in Aix-En-Provence, France. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at IUPUI. Prior to becoming a member of the SRES faculty, he taught English speaking and writing classes in Icheon, South Korea; a suburb of Seoul. At St. Richard's, James is excited to be able to help students develop and refine their language skills inside and outside of the classroom. With 10 years of French, he plans to use it as a medium to help prepare students to work and learn in a gloabl world. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, learning languages, traveling, and cooking, especially Korean food.
