Mrs. Nikeesha Pittman

Mrs. Nikeesha Pittman, Director of Extended Day and Summer Camp Programs, comes to St. Richards after completing 12 years with Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation as a Supervisor for the Outdoor Explorers Summer Camp and their Extended School Enrichment Program at Woodbrook Elementary. She went to Northeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating she worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Whittier Street Health Clinic in the lab and as a OBGYN Medical Assistant. During her Undergraduate years in Massachusetts, she worked with her former professor Dr. Joseph Warren to help start a program called G.E.A.R. UP at Northeastern. She worked with at-risk students after school and on the weekends with school work and enrichment activities to prepare them for college or to earn their G.E.D. Working with youth and engaging them with fun activities and learning experiences, has always been her passion.

In her free time she loves reading, crafts, baking and enjoys visiting family in New York and the Caribbean. She is married and has two children.
