Kevin Doty

Mr. Kevin Doty, a native of Greenwood, Indiana, completed his undergraduate work at Purdue University and graduated in 1994 with a major in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering. While at Purdue, he worked as a co-op student at General Dynamics in Ft. Worth, Texas on the F-16 fighter jet. Kevin was a 1995 Teach For America Corps member in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City, teaching for 3 years and earning his Master of Education. After teaching, Kevin attended graduate school at Princeton, receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 2001, and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA).


After serving Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis and Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, he began tutoring full-time in 2008. When he’s not helping students prepare for the ACT, study for SAT subject tests or tackle Pre-Calculus and Physics, Kevin spends his time traveling, reading, cooking, fixing old houses and hanging out with his 4 shepherds: Bear, Indy, Nashville and Dalton.
